What are TalbotFit’s opening hours? 

Monday to Friday: 6am to 9pm.

Weekends & Bank Holidays: 8am to 7pm.

TalbotFit is located inside of the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, just off the N11/Stillorgan Road. 

Do you have free parking?

Yes, we have over 250 free car parking spots that our members can use. 

Is there public transport nearby?

Yes, public transport is easily accessible with serveral major Dublin Bus routes (145, 46A & 155) stopping right at our front door. The closest train station is Blackrock DART Station, a 15 minute walk away. 


What type of memberships do you offer?

We offer 3-Month, 6-Month, Annual, Recurring Direct Debit and Off-Peak Memberships. 

Do you have off peak memberships? 

Yes, we have off-peak memberships. View them using code “TFOFFPEAK”, on our sign-up page

What are your membership prices?

All of our prices for memberships can be viewed here.

What are the off-peak times? 

Off-Peak entry times are between 10am – 4:45pm, Monday to Friday and 12pm – 7pm on weekends and bank holidays. 

Do you have day passes available to purchase?

Yes, we have 1 day, 2 day and 3 day passes available to purchase. Please note that they must be used within 7 days of purchase. 

Are there any student discounts on memberships? 

Unfortunately, this is not something we offer at this time. 

Is there a minimum age to join the gym? 

Yes, access to TalbotFit is strictly prohibited for all persons under the age of 18 years. Proof of age may be required. 

Are persons under the age of 18 years allowed in the gym under parental supervision?

No, all persons on the gym floor or in the fitness studio must be 18 years or older, regardless of if they are being supervised or not. 

Do you get a program with your membership? 

Yes, a complimentary program is provided upon request.  

Can I avail of a free trial before I start my membership? 

Yes, please contact us on 01 200 1819 or via email to arrange your free trial. 

Can I get a tour of the facilties before deciding to join?

Yes, you can book a gym tour online through our booking form. Alternatively, you can call us or email us to arrange a tour.

Payments & Renewals:

How do I pay for a membership?

Memberships can be purchased online or in person at the gym reception.

How do I renew my membership?

Renewals can be purchased in person at the gym reception. 

Can I pay online for membership? 

Yes, you can sign up and pay online by clicking here.

Can I pay in instalments? 

No, this is not something we offer. We do have a recurring monthly direct debit membership, but bulk memberships cannot be paid in instalments.

Can I freeze my membership at any stage, due to injury, going away etc. 

Yes, we are able to suspend the membership if we receive written confirmation of one of the following: 

  • You, your spouse or partner (if living at the same address) have begun to claim income support. 
  • Provide a letter from your GP saying you are unable to access the gym due to injury or illness. 
  • You are pregnant or have given birth in the last 3 months. 

What’s the cancellation policy for Recurring Direct Debit Members? 

We require one month, or 30 days’, notice to cancel your Direct Debit Membership. 

Facilities & Equipment:

What facilities are available at the gym? 

TalbotFit is equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, top of the range free weight facilities, a dedicated fitness studio and relaxing steam room. Customers can also avail of free towels, over 250 free parking spaces, free toiletries and free WiFi. 

What type of equipment is available? 

We have a wide variety of equipment which includes cross trainers, treadmills, concept rowing machines, wattbikes, recumbent bikes, dumbbells (1kg - 40kg), impulse strength machines, squat rack, steam room and dedicated fitness studio with kettlebells, dumbbells and barbells.

Do you have a swimming pool? 

No, unfortunately, we do not have a swimming pool.

Do you have lockers / changing rooms?

Yes, we have both male and female lockers and changing rooms. 

Do you have a steam room?

Yes, we have a steam room.

Do you have fitness classes? 

We offer Small Group Personal Training Sessions which are available to both members and non-members of TalbotFit. Please see here for more information. To book your group personal training, please click here.

How much do Small Group Personal Training Sessions cost?

Sessions for Members are €10 and €15 for Non-Members. Members who have recently purchased a 6 Month or 12 Month membership are entitled to an unlimited amount FREE Small Group Personal Training sessions.

How do I book Group Personal Training sessions?

Members can book via the app. Non-members can either call, email or fill out our booking form.

Other Information:

Is filming/photography allowed in the gym? 

Yes, but we ask that the privacy of our members is respected, and you don’t intrude on their workouts. If there is a potential that other gym users will be in your video/photograph, it is required that you seek their consent. 

I’ve never joined a gym before, what should I expect? 

You can expect a warm welcome from a TalbotFit Team Member, who is ready to answer any questions you may have. After a brief chat, we will give you a tour of the gym showing you what we have to offer, while discussing the best membership type for you. If you're unsure of where to start, we can create a FREE program for you to collect the next day! Going to the gym should not be a hassle and convenience is imperative to our ethos. TalbotFit members can enjoy over 250 free car-parking spaces, free towels, free toiletires, seamless fingerprint entry and a relaxing atmosphere. 

I’m staying in the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, can I use TalbotFit? 

Yes, hotel guests have complimentary access to TalbotFit. 

I’m staying in the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, how do I access the gym?

The access code can be obtained from the gym reception or the main hotel reception. You may be asked to show your room key and provide your name.
